[Dean sounds impatient - it's not necessarily with her, but with this entire situation, with himself. He wants to be doing something to fix it, not dicking around with a communicator trying to figure out what that should be.]

OOC: Dean does not necessarily have to be involved in taking down Mercer if you've got someone else in mind/would rather not. He's just flailing around trying to be useful now the proverbial horse is out of the nonexistent barn.

ETA ten minutes.

[He doesn't say anything for a while. Just stares. The only thing he screwed up on was successfully obtaining information from Dick. And now the guy was reporting them all, albeit wounded, he was alive and talking.

[she sounds serious] are you going to come peacefully?

[He ignores that question. What do you think?]

[she's all cop now, and very little sympathy.] Again, are you coming peacefully so we can talk?

[Again; silence. He's thinking. He knows he wants off his fucking ship. Knows that Carla will lecture him like he's some subordinate, like he's a goddamn child, so the answer is:]

[Her face is grim] ...Mercer, I know we haven't spoken. That's going to change. I'm asking you.

[It's pretty clear she's prepared to use force.]
